About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Supply Teacher of History to join our team, serving secondary schools in the Bromley area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to work on a flexible basis, supporting students in their History studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective History lessons to students of varying abilities.
Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback.
Adapt to different school environments and work effectively with existing staff.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure all students are on task.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching History at secondary school level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
Ability to travel within a 1-hour radius of Bromley.
