Job Title: Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher

Choice Teachers are looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable individuals for cover supervisor roles in a number of secondary schools in and around Archway. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
These are flexible, ad-hoc roles ideal for those wanting to get into education or work around other commitments. No formal teaching qualification is required, but confidence managing a classroom is essential.
About the Role:

Supervising whole classes during the absence of teaching staff.

Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task.

Managing classroom behaviour and following the school’s policies.

Supporting students with general queries about work or school routines.

Providing feedback to teachers and support staff where required.
This Role Would Suit:

Graduates interested in a career in education.

Aspiring teachers looking to build experience before a PGCE or similar training route.

Experienced LSAs or TAs ready to step into more responsibility.

Individuals with youth work, coaching, tutoring or mentoring backgrounds.
Requirements:

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Confidence leading a group of students in a school setting.

Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
