I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced special needs teaching assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in the Horwich area of Bolton.
This role will be full time with the potential of becoming permanent for the right person.
I am on the lookout for an experienced special needs teaching assistant to support a young boy in year 2 who is working at reception level due to a range of complex needs. If you have experience of working with young people with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Personal Care, Global Delay for a significant period of time then you are exactly what I am looking for!
This role will be full time – term time again for the right person could lead to a permanent role. (But if you are only available part time please do apply as we may have other roles that would suit what you are looking for. You must have experience of working with children/ adults with additional needs to be considered for this role.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a committed, adaptable and caring professional, passionate about delivering high quality support and providing an inspirational approach to learning
• Have previous experience of working with Children/ adults with additional needs. (Essential)
• Holds a Level 2 TA qualification or higher (Desirable)
• Can demonstrate the creativity, resilience and interpersonal skills to complement our highly effective team
• Is an effective team player and willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.
• Has qualification passes in English and Maths or equivalent
