The Role
Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish Teacher to join the school’s thriving Modern Foreign Languages department.
You will be teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering inspiring lessons that help students develop strong communication skills and a genuine interest in language learning.
This role is ideal for a passionate linguist who enjoys creating engaging, culturally rich lessons and contributing to a dynamic school community.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons for KS3 and KS4.

Promote enthusiasm for languages through interactive and engaging teaching.

Assess, track and report on student progress.

Support departmental planning, curriculum development and exam preparation.

Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs or cultural events.
Requirements
Essential:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.

Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.

Passion for languages, culture and student development.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Desirable:
-
Experience teaching GCSE Spanish.
-
Ability to teach an additional language (e.g., French) is an advantage but not essential.

Involvement in extracurricular or cultural enrichment activities.
