Job Title: Social Sciences Teacher (Health & Social Care)

Choice Teachers is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in North West London to recruit a passionate and motivated Teacher of Social Sciences, with a focus on Health and Social Care. About the Role:

Teach Health and Social Care across KS4 and KS5 (other Social Science subjects desirable)

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with exam board specifications

Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and support students in achieving strong outcomes

Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development

Participate in school duties and form tutor responsibilities

Support the school’s ethos, behaviour expectations, and inclusion policies
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Social Sciences, Health and Social Care, or a related subject

Ability to teach Health and Social Care at KS4 and KS5 (experience of other Social Science subjects an advantage)

Strong subject knowledge and a track record of supporting student achievement

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and professional development
