Job Title: SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)
Location: Finsbury, North London
Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale + TLR 1C
Contract Type: Permanent

- Lead and manage the SEND department, providing expert guidance to support the learning and personal development of students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to raise achievement for students with SEND.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure an inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing tailored interventions where necessary.
- Be an advocate for students with SEND, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and support.
- Contribute to the school’s vision of inclusive education, ensuring that all students reach their full potential.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- SENDCo qualification or relevant experience in special educational needs.
- Degree in education or related field.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Desirable:
- Experience in a leadership role within a SEND department.
- Additional qualifications or professional development related to SEND.
