Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Biggleswade
Job Type: Temporary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in students’ lives by providing tailored support and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
- Providing one-on-one support to students with varying needs
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of students
Education:
- Minimum of GCSE and A LEVEL qualifications
Experience :
- Prior experience working with individuals with special educational
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate about assisting students with special needs
- Flexible and adaptable in different classroom environments
- Punctual and reliable in attendance
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Initiative in problem-solving and supporting student progress
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in special education or related fields would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a classroom setting, collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff. Part-Time hours are expected, with flexibility required in supporting students’ needs.
