Cover Supervisor – Agency-Based (Bolton)
Choice Teachers is seeking passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisors for day-to-day roles at reputable secondary schools in the Bolton area, starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for those studying for a PGCE or looking to gain classroom experience without formal teaching qualifications!
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on-task during lessons.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school’s policies.

Provide support to students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Follow school policies and procedures, reporting any concerns to senior staff.

Assist in administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and distributing materials.

Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:

A passion for education and supporting young people.
-
Previous experience working with children or young adults (desirable but not essential).

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.

A degree or relevant qualifications (desirable but not required).

An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
