Choice Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time position at a secondary school in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. For the right candidate, there is potential for a permanent role.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum

Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and independent thinking

Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
-
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
-
Maintaining accurate records of attainment, behaviour and attendance

Supporting extracurricular Science activities and educational visits where appropriate
-
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leaders to support pupil progress and overall school development

Keeping up to date with developments in Science education and incorporating effective teaching strategies and technology
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education or a related subject (essential)

PGCE with QTS or QTLS (essential)

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

Strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
-
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Commitment to professional development and contributing positively to school life
