About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Islington. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong background in science to inspire and engage students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Contribute to the broader school curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching science at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge across the science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply; assistance provided, but the cost will be the candidate’s responsibility).
