Job Description
Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE Teacher to join a secondary school in Henlow on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an educator with a specialism in Religious Education who is passionate about inspiring students and fostering a deep understanding of diverse beliefs and cultures.
As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encouraging students to explore moral, ethical, and cultural issues.
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
- Managing the classroom effectively to create a supportive and focused learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.
Key Requirements
- A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Religious Education is preferred.
- Experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
