Job Summary

Choice Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join a dynamic work-based learning team based in Cambridge. This full-time role focuses on ensuring high standards of quality and compliance across apprenticeship and employer-based training programs. It’s an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about quality improvement, learner success, and vocational education to make a lasting impact.

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will oversee internal quality assurance processes, lead and support a team of Trainer Assessors, and collaborate with employers to deliver outstanding outcomes for learners. Your role will be integral to driving continuous improvement in curriculum development and maintaining compliance with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead internal quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards.
  • Manage and mentor Trainer Assessors, driving best practices in teaching and assessment.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs and learner progress plans.
  • Coordinate End Point Assessments and external quality assurance visits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, building strong relationships with employers and learners.

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • Level 3 vocational qualification and relevant CPD.
  • Level 3 TAQA or equivalent (e.g., A1).
  • Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.

Desirable:

  • Level 4 Leading Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in training, assessing, and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and assessment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads effectively and ensure compliance.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
