Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Ilford, East London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term (Part Time).
About the Role:
An outstanding school in Ilford is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE Teacher to join their highly respected team for the new Academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to inspire students and prepare them for top academic results and future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
- Encourage respectful discussion, ethical reasoning, and cultural understanding
- Plan and assess in line with curriculum standards and school policies
- Contribute to the wider school community, including assemblies and enrichment activities
Requirements
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) with QTS or equivalent experience in independent schools.
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education, Philosophy, or related disciplines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining the high standards and ethos of the school.
