Year 2 Teacher – Maternity Cover (Stevenage)
We are working with a welcoming primary school in Stevenage that is seeking a Year 2 Supply Teacher to join their team for a maternity cover, starting after the February half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.
This is a full-time supply role, Monday to Friday, with full responsibility for planning and marking.
Role Details
Position: Year 2 Supply Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Stevenage
Start Date: After February half term (W/C 23rd February)
Contract: Fixed-term – until the end of the academic year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:20pm
Pay: Pay to scale (£140–£250 per day)
Responsibilities: Teaching, planning, and marking
About You

Hold QTS (or equivalent)

Have experience teaching Year 2 / KS1

Be positive, adaptable, and confident in a classroom setting
