About the Role
As a PMLD Teacher, you will:

Deliver highly personalised, engaging learning experiences tailored to the individual needs of our pupils.

Use sensory-based, communication-focused and therapeutic approaches to support development and wellbeing.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff and parents/carers.

Create a safe, nurturing and joyful environment where every child can thrive and achieve.

Lead a classroom team with empathy, clarity and a commitment to inclusive practice.
About You
We are seeking someone who:

Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), with experience in SEN or a strong interest in PMLD.

Has a warm, positive and patient approach to working with children with complex needs.

Is confident using alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton, objects of reference), or keen to learn.

Is highly organised, reflective and committed to ongoing professional development.

Brings creativity, curiosity and resilience to every challenge.
