Choice Teachers are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Further Education college in Hackney who are seeking an experienced or aspiring Plumbing Lecturer to join their Engineering, Construction, and Built Environment department.

Whether you’re an experienced lecturer or a skilled plumber ready to take your first steps into teaching, full support and training will be provided.
About the Role

Deliver engaging and practical teaching across Plumbing courses at Levels 1–3.

Support students to develop core technical and employability skills for success in the plumbing and construction sectors.

Design and deliver lessons that balance theory with hands-on, real-world learning.

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and incorporate new techniques into the curriculum.

Track learner progress and provide feedback to help every student reach their potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will

Hold (or be willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or Level 5 Diploma).

Possess relevant industry qualifications (minimum Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent).

Have proven experience working in the plumbing or building services sector.

Be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills.

Have a passion for teaching and supporting diverse learners to achieve their goals.
