The Role
As a Performing Arts and Drama Teacher, you will:
- Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5.
- Inspire students to develop their confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
- Plan and deliver lessons that accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Support students in preparing for performances, exams, and extracurricular productions.
- Contribute to the department’s extracurricular activities, such as school plays, workshops, or drama clubs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Performing Arts, Drama, or a related subject, along with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching Performing Arts and Drama in a secondary school setting.
- A passion for the arts and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
