The Role
As a Music Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5.
- Encourage students to develop their musical skills through performance, composition, and appreciation.
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Prepare students for exams and performances, fostering confidence and technical ability.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular music activities, including choir, bands, and concerts.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Music or a related subject and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
- A genuine enthusiasm for music and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
