They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher with a strong understanding of SEN education, who is committed to making a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons for students aged 11-18 (KS3-KS5).
Use adaptive teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with SEN.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support and feedback.
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with support staff and SEN specialists to implement effective teaching strategies.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities designed to support students’ development.
Requirements:
Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Qualification (if applicable).
Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting (desirable).
Strong communication skills with a passion for inclusive education.
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with various learning abilities.
