About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching and Learning Assistants to support students across secondary schools in Bradford. The ideal candidates will have recent school-based experience and a strong background supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
You’ll play a key role in promoting inclusion, independence, and achievement — while being confident in challenging and encouraging SEN students to reach their full potential throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects in KS3 and KS4

Work one-to-one and with small groups of students with SEN

Encourage engagement and progress through tailored support strategies

Assist teachers with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and differentiation
-
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and development

Promote positive learning behaviours and inclusion across the classroom

Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold the school’s values
Key Skills & Requirements
-
CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

Experience working in a UK secondary school

SEN experience is essential

Confident supporting students with a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD)

Proactive and adaptable with strong communication skills

Positive approach to behaviour management

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Up-to-date safeguarding training
