Choice Teachers are delighted to be working in partnership with Cambridge Regional College to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Lecturer in Plumbing. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional or aspiring educator to shape the next generation of plumbing professionals by delivering both practical and theoretical lessons to a diverse group of learners.
About the Role:
As a Lecturer in Plumbing, you will:
✔ Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching and assessment across a range of Plumbing programmes.
✔ Ensure all teaching meets awarding body requirements to promote student success.
✔ Develop and maintain teaching materials, including assignments, electronic resources, and assessments.
✔ Support students with tutorial guidance, progress tracking, and feedback to learners, parents/guardians, and employers.
✔ Contribute to curriculum design and the development of the Plumbing department.
✔ Maintain strong industry links and stay up to date with best practices.
Requirements:
✅ Essential:

Recent and relevant industry experience within the Plumbing and Construction sector.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Plumbing.

Passion for delivering inspirational teaching to learners of varying ages and abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Commitment to student success and professional development.
✅ Desirable:

A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

Experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications.

Familiarity with integrating Maths and English into vocational training.
