Hours:
Part-time (18.5 hours per week), term-time only
- Schedule: Monday and Tuesday (full days), Wednesday (mornings)

About the Role
We are recruiting a Learning Support Mentor for a part-time position within the Creative Industries Department of a college in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their learning goals, fostering independence, and promoting inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with accessing the curriculum by adapting learning materials and resources.
- Support therapy interventions like Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy.
- Empower students to meet their learning outcomes, including those outlined in their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).
- Review and adapt support strategies for learners in collaboration with the Learning Support Manager.
- Promote students’ self-esteem, independence, and social inclusion.
- Undertake relevant training and development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience working with individuals with SEND (preferred).
- Ability to use initiative and handle situations with tact and empathy.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to student support.
