Learning Support Mentor – CHEY (Cambridge Area)
Location: Cambridge
Contract: Term-Time Only, Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £23,519 per annum (pro rata)
Choice Teachers are working with CHEY to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join their Supported Learning team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people with additional learning needs reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:

Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to learners with SEN and disabilities.

Assisting students with reading, note-taking, communication, and access to learning materials.

Encouraging independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

Supporting behaviour management and inclusion across lessons and activities.
Requirements:

Experience supporting students with SEN or learning difficulties.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).

Learning Support qualification (or willingness to work towards).
Safeguarding training and an Enhanced DBS are essential for this role.
