Salary: Main Pay Scale (M1 – M6): £31,650 – £43,607 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and supportive primary school in St Albans for a Key Stage 2 Teacher starting September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging KS2 lessons that inspire a love of learning

Support pupil progress through clear assessment, feedback, and differentiation

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and wider professionals to support holistic development

Contribute to school life, including extra-curricular opportunities and curriculum development

Maintain high standards of behaviour and pastoral care in line with school values
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

Proven experience in a Key Stage 2 teaching role

Passionate about supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing

Confident classroom practitioner with strong communication and planning skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
