We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and supportive primary school in St Albans for a Key Stage 2 Teacher starting September 2025. The school is known for its nurturing ethos, high expectations, and strong sense of community—an ideal setting for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher ready to make an impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging KS2 lessons that inspire a love of learning

  • Support pupil progress through clear assessment, feedback, and differentiation

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and wider professionals to support holistic development

  • Contribute to school life, including extra-curricular opportunities and curriculum development

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and pastoral care in line with school values


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Proven experience in a Key Stage 2 teaching role

  • Passionate about supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing

  • Confident classroom practitioner with strong communication and planning skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
