The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5.
- Encourage students to explore key historical events, themes, and perspectives.
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback to help them succeed.
- Contribute to the department by developing resources and supporting extracurricular activities such as history clubs or field trips.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree in History or a related subject and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching History in secondary education.
- A genuine passion for the subject and a commitment to engaging students.
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative teaching style.
