Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work opportunities in primary schools near Hayes? We are looking for passionate and dedicated HLTAs to join our supply pool and support schools in covering teacher absences, providing a high standard of education to students.

As a trusted education recruitment agency, we work with a range of primary schools in the Hayes area. We are currently seeking flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistants to provide essential cover for teacher absences and support students in a variety of classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering planned and unplanned teacher absences in primary schools, taking on the role of lead teaching assistant in the classroom
  • Delivering lessons according to school plans, ensuring students are engaged and supported throughout the lesson
  • Supporting the class teacher with planning and classroom management as needed
  • Working with small groups of children, providing targeted support to help them progress academically
  • Supporting students’ individual learning needs, including those with additional needs
  • Promoting positive behavior, building students’ confidence and encouraging a positive classroom environment
  • Communicating effectively with the class teacher, school staff, and parents as needed

Ideal Candidates:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4 or higher)
  • Experience working in primary schools, particularly covering teacher absences

  • Adaptable and proactive, able to work in different school environments and support various learning needs
