Role Overview: As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. You’ll deliver dynamic lessons covering a range of topics within health and social care, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of the sector and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their future careers.


  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Create innovative teaching resources and assessment materials to enhance the learning experience.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them maximize their potential and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of health and social care, incorporating current research and best practices into your teaching.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Health & Social Care or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Health & Social Care at the secondary level, with a track record of student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for staying up-to-date with developments in the field.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the classroom and beyond.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is essential for this role.
