The Role
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons across KS4 and KS5, preparing students for success in exams and further education.
- Foster an understanding of health and social care principles, ethics, and practices.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities within the department.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school or sixth form setting.
- A passion for the subject and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their potential.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
