Geography Teacher – Summer Term
Location: St Albans
Contract: Summer Term (with potential extension)
Days: Monday to Thursday preferred (5 days considered for the right candidate)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Pay to Scale)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join one of our partnering secondary schools St Albans for the summer term. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills—firm but fair—and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons that inspire students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement
- Plan and assess effectively, with allocated PPA time
- Possible form tutor responsibilities
Requirements:
✔️ QTS or relevant teaching qualification
✔️ Experience in delivering high-quality Geography lessons
✔️ Ability to create a structured yet dynamic learning environment
