Job Title: Food Technology Teacher

Choice Teachers are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Wembley to recruit a passionate and experienced Food Technology Teacher. This is a full-time role starting after the Easter break and continuing through the summer term, with the possibility of a longer-term position for the right candidate.
About the Role:

Delivering Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Planning and teaching a curriculum that supports students’ practical skills, creativity, and understanding of food and nutrition.

Promoting a culture of safe and hygienic working practices in a well-equipped kitchen environment.

Assessing student progress, providing regular feedback, and supporting individual learning needs.

Contributing to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities related to food and design.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.

Have a relevant degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related subject.

Demonstrate experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.

Be confident in managing a practical classroom and upholding health and safety standards.

Have excellent communication skills and a passion for practical learning.
