We are currently seeking confident and proactive Cover Supervisors to work across Secondary Schools in Sheffield. This role is ideal for graduates, experienced school staff, or individuals looking to progress into teaching.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise lessons during teacher absences and deliver pre-planned work.

Ensure classroom routines are maintained and learning is on track.

Manage behaviour positively and follow school behaviour policies.

Support pupils with questions and maintain an engaging learning environment.

Report back to department staff on student progress and lesson outcomes.

Build positive relationships with pupils and staff teams across the school.
Key Skills & Requirements

UK classroom experience is essential (as a Cover Supervisor, TA, Instructor, or similar).

Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Confident leading whole classes across a range of subjects.

Ability to engage pupils and maintain learning expectations.

Reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting school routines.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
