Choice Teachers is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Islington to recruit a passionate and skilled English Teacher for a September start. The school is part of a successful academy trust, offering strong support structures and a focus on high standards and inclusive education.
About the Role:
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support development
- Play an active role in departmental planning and improvement
- Support form tutoring and take part in wider school activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification
- Have a degree in English or a closely related subject
- Be confident in delivering English to a range of student abilities
- Be enthusiastic about fostering a love of reading and writing
- Show strong classroom management and be a team player
