Choice Teachers is working with a vibrant secondary school in Wembley to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher for a September start. About the Role:

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate).

Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to a range of student abilities.

Mark and assess work, providing clear feedback to support pupil development.

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental improvement initiatives.

Support students’ personal development and progress through form tutoring and pastoral care.

Participate in extracurricular opportunities and wider school life.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.

Have a degree in English or a related subject.

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.

Be able to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities.

Show excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a purposeful learning environment.

Be committed to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
