About the Role:
- Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of an inclusive and innovative English curriculum.
- Play an active role in the school’s extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, writing competitions, and drama productions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in English.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising student attainment and creating a positive learning environment.
