Choise Teachers are looking for an Early Years Primary Teacher to work in one of our Primary Schools in Watford, Hertfordshire

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for early years primary students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A relevant degree in education or a related field.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in an early years primary setting.
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Experience in assessing student progress and providing feedback.
  • Experience in collaborating with colleagues and parents/guardians.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of early years curriculum frameworks and educational practises.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in education or a related field.
  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs.
  • Experience in leading extracurricular activities or school projects.

Working Conditions:
