Design & Technology Teacher – Secondary School (Stevenage)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time (long-term / permanent considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Stevenage, starting as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Teaching Design & Technology/DT across KS3 and KS4 (specialisms welcomed)
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or be working towards it)
- Have experience teaching Design & Technology/DT at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisation skills
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student achievement
- Be available to start immediately or at short notice
