Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Euston who are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their team for the Summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design & Technology Teacher with experience in Resistance Materials / Woodwork, and the ability to support Food Technology where required.
The successful Design & Technology Teacher will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and hands-on learning.
About the Role – Design & Technology Teacher
- Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver lessons focused on Resistance Materials / Woodwork
- Support the delivery of Food Technology where required
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical and creative lessons
- Maintain a safe and well-managed workshop environment
- Assess, monitor and support student progress
- Contribute to the wider department and school community
The Ideal Design & Technology Teacher Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school
- Be confident teaching Resistance Materials / Woodwork
- Have some experience or willingness to teach Food Technology
- Have strong classroom management and organisation skills
- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
