️ Design & Technology Teacher – Bolton
Full-Time | Start: Any Time During the 2025–26 Academic Year | Potential Long term role
Choice Teachers, a trusted education recruitment agency with over 15 years of experience, are working with a thriving secondary school in Bolton that is seeking a creative and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join their team.
This is a full-time agency-based role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role

Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver practical and theoretical lessons in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering (depending on specialism)

Inspire creativity, problem-solving, and technical skill development in students

Assess and monitor progress, providing effective feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the DT department to maintain high teaching standards
What You’ll Need
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject area
✔ Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4
✔ A passion for hands-on, project-based learning
✔ Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
✔ A flexible and proactive attitude, with a commitment to student achievement
