Choice Teachers are working with a high-performing secondary school in Finsbury Park to recruit a qualified and motivated Design and Technology Teacher. This full-time position is to start in May 2025, offering an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and creative department.
About the Role:

Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available for the right candidate).

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across areas such as Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials or Food Technology, depending on your expertise.

Encourage innovation, problem-solving and creativity through hands-on practical work.

Ensure high standards of health and safety in the workshop or classroom setting.

Contribute to curriculum development, student assessment and wider departmental initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have a degree in Design Technology or a related discipline.

Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.

Be enthusiastic about developing students’ design and technical skills.

Be confident working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
