About the Role: Choice Teachers are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team, supporting secondary schools in the Pimlico area. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and who are passionate about education. You must be willing to travel up to 1 hour to various school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
Follow school policies and procedures to support student safety and well-being.
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments.
A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
Ability to travel within a 1-hour radius of Pimlico.
