Summary:
Choice Teachers are a teacher recruitment agency, and we are seeking confident, adaptable, and proactive Cover Supervisors to support and partner secondary schools across East London. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson work, maintaining classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay focused and engaged in their learning.
Working across a variety of schools, you’ll gain valuable experience, develop strong classroom-management skills, and enjoy a flexible schedule that suits your availability. This position is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about supporting young people in education.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Degree or Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with children or young people in any setting (school, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to different school environments
