About the Cover Supervisor Role
As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work in the absence of teaching staff and support pupils to stay engaged with their learning. Roles are available on a fully flexible basis, allowing you to choose work that fits your availability.
You may support students:

In full classroom settings
-
Within small group learning environments
-
On a one-to-one support basis
-
Across a variety of secondary school subjects
This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, youth workers, teaching assistants, or anyone interested in education support jobs or teaching careers.
We Are Looking For Flexible Candidates Who:

Can work across different secondary schools in Warrington

Are confident managing classroom behaviour and supporting learning

Can build positive, professional relationships with young people

Have experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, residential care or similar settings is beneficial)

Are adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic about supporting education
Requirements for Cover Supervisor Jobs:

DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

A-Level qualification or equivalent (desirable)

Experience working with children or young people

Two professional references

Right to work in the UK
