Cover Supervisor – Hitchin

Choice Teachers is proud to be working with three of the local Secondary schools in Rickmansworth. The schools are in need of regular support to cover their absent teachers. The role would be suitable for someone who is looking to gain experience within education or flexible work within the local area.
Job Duties:
- Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students
- Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Punctuality and reliability
Education:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with students
- Ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills
- Inspirational and able to motivate students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or experience
- First Aid certification
