Cover Supervisor – Hemel Hempstead and Surrounding Areas

We are currently collaborating with several secondary schools in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas, looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors on a temporary supply basis.

What We’re Looking For:
- Confidence in managing a classroom and ensuring students remain on task.
- A willingness to support students in their learning.
- The ability to present pre-prepared lessons to students.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A full, clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
- Educated to A-level or Degree level
- A DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references.
- Right to work in the UK.

As a Cover Supervisor, your role will be varied and rewarding. You will be responsible for supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and managing behaviour in line with the school’s policies. You’ll also support students across various subjects, helping to maintain a productive learning environment.
Work hours may vary depending on school timetables and can involve extended periods of standing and some physical activity.
