Choice Teachers are working with a well-established Secondary School in Liverpool (with an ofsted rating of good!) to recruit an Computer Science Teacher to start with them in November to cover a long-term absence.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher who has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students, utilising the Schemes of Work already in place. This role would suit an individual who is keen to secure a role in an established department, and work as part of a successful teaching team.
The school are open to applications from experienced teachers as well as ECT’s. The successful candidate will need to:
• Programming experience with Python
• Familiar with the GCSE OCR J277 specification
• Be an excellent and inspirational outdoor & classroom teacher, who demonstrates outstanding professional practice and who has children at the heart of all they do
• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
• Show commitment to high quality and effective assessment in order to ensure all pupils achieve to their full potential;
• Follow Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures
• Have good organisational management skills
• Have the drive and determination to make a difference
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
Requirements:
• DBS Certificate on the update service
• Teaching qualification in the UK
• Two professional references
• Right to work in the UK.
