Chemistry Teacher – Secondary School, Hertford

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our partnering secondary school in Hertford from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to contribute to a dynamic science department and engage students with a passion for chemistry.
About the Role:
- Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially A-Level
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Support the wider science faculty in fostering a love of learning
- Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure excellent outcomes
- Contribute to extracurricular science activities and enrichment opportunities
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related subject
- Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (including KS4, with KS5 desirable)
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
- A collaborative approach and willingness to be involved in the wider school community
